ALDWARK, FLAWITH & YOULTON PARISH ASSEMBLY - Tuesday 9th May 2017 at 7.00pm
All residents of Aldwark, Flawith and Youlton are invited to this open meeting at 7pm on Tuesday 9th May at Aldwark Manor Hotel. Although it is organised and chaired by the Parish Council, it is not a formal Council meeting but an opportunity for local people to raise any matters of concern or interest.
For example the Parish Council would like to hear how people in Aldwark would like us to spend the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) payment of £5197 received from Hambleton District Council in respect of the development of 3 new houses in the village. This can be used in any way which improves the village infrastructure such as new play or leisure equipment, anti-speeding measures or improvement to broadband reception - and must be spent within 5 years. We would also like to discuss a suggestion to develop an email communication network within the villages.
We hope you will come along and have your say. If there are particular matters that you would like to raise and wish to discuss before the meeting please contact me.
The Assembly will be followed by the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council, details of which can be found on the website www.aldwarkparish.co.uk
