The Notice Board at the village green is provided by the Parish Council. In the past it has been unmanaged and full of notices that have expired or have had other notices fitted on top. We therefor asked for volunteers to look after the board. The following rules have been approved by the Parish Council and we hope everyone will respect these.

Making best use of the Tollerton Notice Board

Use A5 posts in portrait mode wherever possible – this allows more posts on the board.

Date ALL posts, if the board is almost full the ones there for the longest can be replaced first.

Please use the mapping pins provided as these make it far easier to move notices around, not drawing pins and definitely NOT STAPLES.

If the post is for an event, please don’t put up more than a month in advance. Events with multiple dates will be left till all are past.

Posts for events, including business ones, are left up till the event has passed then removed and recycle.

General posts for information etc. from local groups or individuals are left up for between one and two months depending on space available then recycled with older posts being removed first.

General posts from commercial businesses are left up for 30 days then removed and recycled and cannot be reposted for 30 days.
